It Started With a Lock

Since our inception in 1971, the lock has been an instantly recognisable icon for Mulberry, with iterations from our original Postman���s Lock to the contemporary equestrian Rider’s Lock becoming as synonymous with our brand as the coveted bags themselves.

This season, in a series of stills shot by celebrated photographer Esther Theaker, we spotlight the striking hardware across two modern Mulberry icons – the artful Lana family's Dali-esque Foundry Lock and the bold, graphic hardware of the quintessentially British Pimlico family.

Over the years our locks has evolved – referenced, refreshed, reimagined – but the hallmarks have remained the same: secure, classic, and Made to Last.
