The New Nautical
It may be winter in England, but our new Spring Summer 2016 collection was inspired by the effortless style of an English summertime in the 1920s.
Particularly influenced by relaxed, androgynous pre-war elegance, silhouettes are fluid and cool, with voluminous tailoring, sensual fabrics and contemporary twists on iconic designs.
Our season's muses are the bold British artist Marlow Moss, sculptor Barbara Hepworth and photographer Lee Miller. Feminine silk dresses contrast with androgynous outerwear, oversized knits and cool, classic loafers.
SHOP THE COLLECTION
Graphic prints interpret iconic seaside references - the faded candy patterns of vintage beach huts and the dramatic clean lines of nautical sailor stripes are reworked into modern prints and jacquards for tailoring, knitwear and silks.
Designed to mimic how the wind catches a sail, our silk dresses are cut with an asymmetric hem to add lightness and movement, and oversized scarves feature bold colours, stripes and our new 'Salcombe' print inspired by birds in flight, and named after the famous harbour village in Devon on England's south-west coast.
Be inspired by the seaside spirit and take in a breath of fresh air.
