We measure our belts from where the leather meets the buckle to the middle hole of the belt. Sizing relates to the actual length of the belt, rather than your waist or hip measurements.
In general, we would suggest you choose a belt size two inches larger than your standard waist measurement.
When ordering, think about where you want to wear the belt, from example with jeans on the hips or higher on the waist, and take the time to measure yourself accordingly to get the best size match to order.
