Shoe Care

Your beautiful Mulberry shoes will last even longer if you treat them with tender loving care. Here’s our advice for looking after them:

  • Use a shoe horn when you’re putting them on – this will help prevent damage to the backs.
  • If your shoes get wet, let them dry naturally – don’t put them too close to the radiator! If necessary, wipe the inside with paper towels.
  • If they do get wet, get them into the dry as soon as possible.
  • To retain their lovely shape, use shoe trees or stuff them lightly with white acid-free tissue paper.
  • Keep an eye on your shoes, particularly the soles and heels, and take action to deal with any signs of wear sooner rather than later.
  • If your shoes are looking tired, freshen them up by wiping the inside with a damp sponge and then drying with paper towels. Let them dry naturally away from artificial heat.
  • If wooden heels get scratched, touch them up with a colour-matched shoe polish and soft cloth. If the heels are leather-covered, treat them in the same way as the shoe upper.
  • Your shoes will last longer and look more beautiful if you keep them in the original box and bag.
